And these same two traditional media guys are going to decide which ones get asked. However, since all the old media websites got a social media makeover, they invite comment. They’re moderated by CNN (yet another filter!) so in case they don’t post mine, here it is:

I agree w/ Joshua Levy. There is nothing revolutionary about this process if the same gatekeepers are deciding which questions make it through the old media filter that often uses an insider perspective and conventional wisdom to determine what is a ‘good’ or ‘important’ query of a potential president. It’s unlikely a honestly challenging or unique question makes it through this secret process that the CNN folks laugh about in that video. YouTube is powerful because of the disintermediation it provides. Leave it to an old media company to reinsert themselves into the conversation and then claim they’re breaking ground and part of the revolution. Typical.

Here’s that video I’m talking about in my comment. Could those people be any more fake? Maybe that horribly ironic laughing about the secret process they’re using is just acting.
